Who I am

Husband and Dad

Our family moved to Bartlesville in 2014, and we immediately fell in love with this city. We have put down deep roots over the past decade, and Lauren and I feel blessed to raise our kids here.

I am running for City Council because Bartlesville has been good to us, and I want to help our community thrive into the future.

Pastor

As the Preaching Minister at the Adams Blvd Church of Christ, I've had the privilege of walking with people through life's challenges and joys. This role has honed my skills in listening, communication, and bringing people together—skills essential for a city council member. Pastoring also requires navigating challenges and opportunities with large groups of people, understanding complex needs and communicating vision and strategy.

My passion for service extends beyond the church, driving my commitment to community-building initiatives like Convoy of Hope, Family Promise, Building Bridges out of Poverty, and Bartlesville’s Biggest Potluck Ever. I believe my experience as a pastor equips me with the empathy, leadership, and dedication needed to represent Ward 4 effectively and help our community thrive.

Entrepreneur

As an entrepreneur and small business owner, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges and rewards of running a business in Bartlesville. I’ve built successful ventures from the ground up, which has sharpened my problem-solving skills, financial acumen, and ability to innovate—qualities essential for effective leadership on the city council.

Managing businesses has taught me the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and strategic planning. I understand what it takes to create opportunities, drive economic growth, and support local businesses, and I’m committed to applying these insights to help our community prosper.

Neighbor

On any given day, you’ll see me swimming with my kids at the Y, playing softball at Artunoff, walking my dogs with my wife, working out at Colaw, riding my e-bike around downtown, or sipping coffee at Outpost. Or Jude’s. Or Starbucks. I drink a lot of coffee.

City Council is a volunteer position, and I’m not a politician. I’m an energetic, innovative, hard working neighbor, and I want to use those gifts to benefit Bartlesville. I hope you’ll let me serve.
